ACADEMY | Kids' Bike 26" | Grade 6 Belt

ACADEMY Grade 6 Belt – the lightweight kids' bike for beginners

The Grade 6 Belt from Academy is a 26-inch bicycle specifically developed for children. In collaboration with the German Institute for Orthopedics and Sport in Bielefeld, Academy set itself the goal of manufacturing the lightest and highest-quality children's bike possible, optimally tailored to children. Ergonomics and weight played a decisive role in this process.

Product details

Especially for children who want to learn how to ride a bike, weight is a deciding factor. The Grade 6 by Academy weighs just 9 kg and is one of the lightest children's bikes on the market. Due to its low weight, the Academy Grade handles corners better and makes it easier for little riders to accelerate and climb inclines. With a lightweight bike, the little ones also don't need as much strength to get the bike moving.

The low step-through height of the frame allows children to mount the bike easily. The patented Vario stem grows in height and length, and can be adjusted infinitely so that the bike can be optimally adapted to the riding position. The Q-factor reflects the rider's pedaling movement. With children, it is particularly important to use a low Q-factor so that pedaling is optimally suited to children.
