ACADEMY Trail 4 R – the lightweight 20-inch children's bike with coaster brake in Amber

The Trail 4 R from ACADEMY is the perfect 20-inch bike for children who value an especially lightweight and ergonomic bike with a coaster brake. Developed in collaboration with the German Institute for Orthopedics and Sports in Bielefeld, it provides the best conditions for safe and comfortable riding in everyday life and during leisure time.

Product Details

With a weight of only about 9.6 kg, the Trail 4 R is among the lightest children's bikes on the market. This allows for effortless starting, easy braking, and overall pleasant handling – ideal for children from approx. 6 years of age. The V-brake provides additional safety.

The low step-through frame and the patented Vario stem, which can be adjusted in height and length, make the bike particularly child-friendly. The narrow Q-factor facilitates pedaling and supports natural leg movement – important for healthy development.

Assembly

All ACADEMY bikes are 80% pre-assembled. Only the pedals, handlebars, and saddle need to be installed. Before the first ride, we recommend checking the brakes and readjusting them if necessary. Assembly by a bicycle mechanic is recommended.
